Inventory dashboard

The Inventory dashboard brings every inventory item from all your connected Shopify stores into one list. Instead of opening each store to check what's available, what's committed, and what's on the way, you get a single view of your stock you can filter, sort, and export.

Opening the dashboard

In the left sidebar, go to Products → Inventory, or visit /inventoryitems directly.

If a connected store is missing the access scope EcomSolo needs to read inventory, a small badge appears next to the menu item — open the dashboard and you'll see which stores need re-authorizing.

What you'll see

Each row is one inventory item (a product variant's stock), with these columns:

ColumnWhat it shows
ProductThe product title, with the variant beneath it.
SKUThe item's SKU.
StoreWhich connected store the item belongs to (shown on multi-store accounts).
TrackedWhether Shopify tracks stock for the item.
UnavailableStock that can't be sold (e.g. damaged or safety stock).
CommittedStock reserved by open orders.
AvailableStock available to sell.
On handTotal physical stock.
IncomingStock on the way in.

More fields — such as variant, barcode, cost, HS code, country of origin and requires-shipping — are available from the column picker. Use it to show, hide, and reorder columns, and set your default sort — the dashboard remembers your choice.

Filtering and searching

Narrow the list down and sort by any column. The filters make the common questions one click away:

  • Stores — focus on one or more connected stores.
  • Tracked and Requires Shipping — yes/no filters.
  • Product Title and SKU — find a specific product or item.
  • Location — items at a particular location.
  • Available and On Hand — filter by stock quantity.
  • HS Code and Country Code Of Origin — customs fields.
  • Created At and Updated At — filter by date.

Type in the search box to search by product title or SKU.

Exporting

Open the Export Builder from the dashboard to download inventory items as CSV or Excel. You choose the scope:

  • Current page — just what's on screen.
  • Filtered — everything matching your current filters.
  • Selected — only the rows you tick.
  • All inventory items — the full list across your stores.

Pick the columns you want, and download. If you export the same shape regularly, save it as a template so it's one click next time.

Tutorial: export a low-stock report across your stores

A quick walkthrough of a common job — pulling a list of items running low on sellable stock, across every store, as a shareable file.

  1. Open Products → Inventory from the sidebar.
  2. In the filter bar, set Tracked to Yes so untracked items don't crowd the list.
  3. Add a Store filter if you want to focus on one store, or leave it off to see all stores together.
  4. Click the Available column header to sort — lowest first, so the items closest to selling out rise to the top.
  5. Use the column picker to add columns like SKU and Incoming so every row shows what's on hand and what's on the way.
  6. Open the Export Builder, choose the Filtered scope, pick your columns, and download a CSV or Excel — a ready-to-share reorder report.

Permissions

Account owners always have access. For team members, access is controlled by the View Inventory permission — without it, opening the dashboard shows a "no access" message. Grant it from your team member's permissions.

FAQ

Does the Inventory dashboard show stock from all my stores at once? Yes — every connected store's inventory items land in one list. Filter by Store when you want to focus on a single store.

What's the difference between Available and On hand? On hand is the total physical stock; Available is what's left to sell after committed (reserved) and unavailable stock are set aside.

Why do the quantity columns show a dash for some items? Items that aren't tracked in Shopify have no stock counts, so their quantity columns show a dash. The Tracked column tells you which items those are.

Can I export only the items I've filtered to? Yes. Open the Export Builder and choose the Filtered scope to export exactly what matches your current filters — or Selected for just the rows you tick.

Can team members see this dashboard? Only if they have the View Inventory permission. Account owners always have access.
