Discounts dashboard

The Discounts dashboard brings every discount from all your connected Shopify stores into one list. Instead of opening each store to check what's active, what's expired, and how much each code is being used, you get a single view you can filter, sort, and export.

Opening the dashboard

In the left sidebar, click Discounts, or visit /discounts directly.

If a connected store is missing the access scope EcomSolo needs to read discounts, a small badge appears next to the menu item — open the dashboard and a banner shows which stores need re-authorizing.

What you'll see

Each row is one discount, with these columns:

ColumnWhat it shows
TitleThe discount's name.
StoreWhich connected store the discount belongs to.
StatusWhether the discount is active, expired, or scheduled.
CodesThe discount codes, when it's a code-based discount.
Codes countHow many codes the discount has.
Usage limitThe maximum number of times it can be used, when set.
Once per customerWhether the discount is limited to one use per customer.
UsedHow many times the discount has been redeemed.
StartsWhen the discount starts.
EndsWhen the discount ends, or "Never" when open-ended.
Last activityWhen the discount was last updated.

More columns are available from the column picker, including Created, Discount kind, Discount method (code vs automatic), Discount classes (product, order, shipping), Total sales, App discount type, and Max shipping price.

If you only have one connected store, the Store column is hidden automatically since every row belongs to the same store.

Use the column picker to show, hide, and reorder columns, and set your default sort — the dashboard remembers your choice.

Filtering and searching

Narrow the list down with filters, and sort by any column:

  • Stores — focus on one or more of your stores.
  • Status — active, expired, or scheduled.
  • Discount Method — code or automatic.
  • Discount Kind — basic, buy X get Y, free shipping, or app, for both code and automatic discounts.
  • Discount Classes — product, order, or shipping.
  • Used — filter by redemption count.
  • Starts At, Ends At, Created At, Updated At — filter by date.

The search box matches by discount title.

Exporting

Open the Export Builder from the dashboard to download discounts as CSV or Excel. You choose the scope:

  • Current page — just what's on screen.
  • Filtered — everything matching your current filters.
  • Selected — only the rows you tick.
  • All discounts — the full list across your stores.

Pick the columns you want, and download. If you export the same shape regularly, save it as a template so it's one click next time.

Tutorial: audit active discounts and their usage across your stores

A quick walkthrough of a common job — seeing which promotions are live right now, across every store, and how much they're being used.

  1. Open Discounts from the sidebar.
  2. In the filter bar, set Status to Active to show only discounts that are currently running.
  3. Add a Discount Method filter — for example Code — if you want to focus on codes rather than automatic discounts.
  4. Add a Stores filter to focus on one store, or leave it off to compare all stores together.
  5. Click the Used column header to sort, so your most-redeemed discounts rise to the top.
  6. Open the Export Builder, choose the Filtered scope, pick your columns, and download a CSV or Excel — a ready-to-share promotions report.

Permissions

Account owners always have access. For team members, access is controlled by the View Discounts permission — without it, opening the dashboard shows a "no access" message. Grant it from your team member's permissions.

FAQ

Does the Discounts dashboard show discounts from all my stores at once? Yes — every connected store's discounts land in one list. Filter by Stores when you want to focus on a single store.

What's the difference between a code and an automatic discount? A code discount requires the customer to enter a code at checkout; an automatic discount applies on its own when conditions are met. Filter by Discount Method to separate the two.

Why does the Ends column say "Never" for some discounts? Those discounts are open-ended — they have no end date set, so they run until you change them.

Can I export only the discounts I've filtered to? Yes. Open the Export Builder and choose the Filtered scope to export exactly what matches your current filters — or Selected for just the rows you tick.

A store shows a warning badge next to Discounts — what does it mean? That store is missing the Shopify access scope EcomSolo needs to read discounts. Re-authorize the store and the badge clears.
