Exports
The Exports dashboard is where every export you run lands, ready to download. Build an export of any dashboard's data — from a single entity like Orders or Customers, or a multi-entity bundle — across all your connected Shopify stores, choose CSV or Excel, and pick it up here when it's done.
Opening the dashboard
In the left sidebar, go to Exports/Imports → Exports, or visit /exports
directly. The Export Wizard sits right above it in the same section, one
click away at /exports/new.
What you'll see
Each row is one export, with columns you can show, hide and reorder from the column picker:

| Type | Whether it's a Single export or a Bundle (with the number of sections and CSV or XLSX). |
| Export Type | The entity the export covers — for example Orders, Customers or Products — or the section count for a bundle. |
| Source | Where the export came from — for example the wizard, a dashboard, or a scheduled run. |
| Status | Completed, In Progress or Failed. |
| Created At | When the export was created. |
| Author | Who ran it — Ecomsolo or a team member. |
| Scheduled | Whether the export came from a schedule. |
There are also optional Report, Audience, Data Export and View columns that name the source behind an export when one applies. Use the column picker to choose which columns show and set your default sort — the dashboard remembers your choice.
Building an export
Open the Export Wizard at /exports/new to build a new export. It walks you
through four steps:
- Pick the entities — one for a single export, or several for a bundle.
- Configure each section — choose the columns for each entity.
- Choose the output — CSV or Excel, and for a bundle either a combined workbook (one file with a sheet per entity) or separate files.
- Review and run — check the summary and create the export.
When the run finishes, the export appears in the list with a Completed status and a download icon on its row. Bundles group their files together — click a bundle row to open its details and download each part.
Filtering and searching
Narrow the list with filters for Export Type, Source, Status, Author and Created At, and use the Single / Bundle / All buttons to switch between individual exports and bundles. This makes the common questions one click away — "which exports finished today", "everything I ran from the wizard", "the failed runs I need to retry".
Downloading
When an export shows Completed, use the download icon on its row to save it — CSV or Excel, depending on how it was built. For a bundle, open the row to download each section. Downloads require the Download Exports permission.
Tutorial: build and download a multi-store export
A quick walkthrough of the most common job — exporting a dashboard's data across all your stores and picking up the file.
- Open Exports/Imports → Export Wizard from the sidebar, at
/exports/new. - In step one, pick the entity you want to export — for example Orders — or tick several to build a bundle.
- In step two, choose the columns you want for each entity.
- In step three, choose CSV or Excel (and for a bundle, a combined workbook or separate files).
- Review the summary in step four and create the export.
- Back on the Exports dashboard, wait for the row to show Completed, then click the download icon to save your file.
Permissions
Account owners always have access. For team members, seeing this dashboard is controlled by the View Exports permission, and saving files by the Download Exports permission — without View Exports the dashboard isn't reachable, and without Download Exports the download prompts a no-access message.
FAQ
Can one export cover all my Shopify stores? Yes — an export pulls the chosen entity's data across every connected store into one file.
What's the difference between a single export and a bundle? A single export covers one entity; a bundle covers several at once and can be delivered as one combined workbook or as separate files.
Why can't I download an export yet? Downloads are only available once the export's status is Completed. While it shows In Progress the file isn't ready; Failed means the run needs to be retried.
Can I reuse the same set of columns next time? Yes — save your column selection as an export template so it's one click to reuse. Templates live on the Export Templates page.
A team member can't download an export — why? Downloading requires the Download Exports permission. Grant it from their permissions, or ask an account owner, who always has access.
