Blog Posts dashboard
The Blog Posts dashboard brings every blog article from all your connected Shopify stores into one list. Instead of opening each store's blogs to check what's published, who wrote it, or which tags it carries, you get a single view you can filter, sort, and export.
Opening the dashboard
In the left sidebar, go to Content → Blog posts, or visit
/content/blog-posts directly.
If a connected store is missing the access scope EcomSolo needs to read blog articles, a small badge appears next to the menu item — open the dashboard and you'll see which stores need re-authorizing.
What you'll see
Each row is one blog article, with these columns:

| Image | The article's featured image, or a placeholder when it has none. |
| Title | The article's title. |
| Blog | The blog the article belongs to. |
| Author | The article's author. |
| Published | Whether the article is published (Yes) or not (No). |
| Published At | When the article was published. |
| Handle | The article's URL handle. |
| Tags | The article's tags. |
| Template Suffix | The theme template the article uses, when a custom one is set. |
| Store | Which connected store the article belongs to (shown when you have more than one store). |
| Created At | When the article was created. |
| Updated At | When it was last updated. |
Use the column picker to show, hide, and reorder columns, and set your default sort — the dashboard remembers your choice. From the dashboard you can also jump to Manage blogs to work with the blogs themselves.
Filtering and searching
Narrow the list down and sort by any column, so the common questions are one click away:
- Stores — focus on one store, or leave it off to see them all together.
- Published — show only published articles, or only unpublished ones.
- Blog Handle and Blog ID — focus on articles in one blog.
- Author — find everything a particular author wrote.
- Title and Handle — find a specific article.
- Tags — filter by article tag.
- Template Suffix — find articles built on a particular theme template.
- Published At, Created At, Updated At — narrow to a date range.
The search box matches article titles that contain your text.
Exporting
Open the Export Builder from the dashboard to download blog posts as CSV or Excel. You choose the scope:
- Current page — just what's on screen.
- Filtered — everything matching your current filters.
- Selected — only the rows you tick.
- All blog posts — the full list across your stores.
Pick the columns you want, and download. If you export the same shape regularly, save it as a template so it's one click next time.
Tutorial: pull one author's published articles across your stores
A quick walkthrough of a common job — collecting everything one author has published, across every store, and handing it over as a file.
- Open Content → Blog posts from the sidebar.
- In the filter bar, set the Author filter to the writer you want.
- Set Published to Yes to show only articles that are live.
- Add a Stores filter if you want to focus on one store, or leave it off to see every store together.
- Click the Published At column header to sort — for example newest first, so the most recent articles lead.
- Open the Export Builder, choose the Filtered scope, pick your columns, and download a CSV or Excel — a ready-to-share list of that author's published work.
Permissions
Account owners always have access. For team members, access is controlled by the View Blog Posts permission — without it, opening the dashboard shows a "no access" message. Grant it from your team member's permissions.
FAQ
Does the Blog Posts dashboard show articles from all my stores at once? Yes — every connected store's blog articles land in one list. Filter by Stores when you want to focus on a single store.
Can I see articles for just one blog? Yes. Use the Blog Handle or Blog ID filter to narrow the list to a single blog, across the stores you're viewing.
Can I find only unpublished drafts? Yes. Set the Published filter to No to list every article that isn't live yet, across all your stores.
Why does an article show a placeholder instead of an image? The Image column shows a placeholder when an article has no featured image in Shopify. Articles with a featured image show its thumbnail.
Can I export only the articles I've filtered to? Yes. Open the Export Builder and choose the Filtered scope to export exactly what matches your current filters — or Selected for just the rows you tick.
A store shows a warning badge next to Blog posts — what does it mean? That store is missing the Shopify access scope EcomSolo needs to read blog articles. Re-authorize the store and the badge clears.
