  • Ask your data questions in plain language. EcomSolo now speaks MCP, the open standard AI assistants use to reach external systems — connect Claude to your account and ask 'what were my total sales and shipping per store last month?' to get real numbers computed across every connected store, in one currency. Read-only, governed by the same API keys, permissions and rate limits as the API.
  • The API is now easier to find — it leads the Features menu on the site, and the API page links straight to the assistant setup guide.

  • Fetch your records directly from the API — orders, customers, products and draft orders, filtered by any field and returned page by page. Ask for only the fields you need. This is the companion to queries — queries answer questions, records hand you the rows.
  • Run your exports from code. Trigger any export you have already set up, check on it while it runs, and download the file when it is ready — the way to pull large volumes on a schedule without anyone clicking a button. Your configured email, FTP or Google delivery still happens as normal.
  • Run your saved reports through the API. Build a report visually in Reports, then pull it from your own systems by name — the numbers match what you see on screen, and you can change the report later without touching your code.
  • A much richer sales dataset for reports — 151 fields covering the full sales catalog, with the date picker now mirroring your query exactly and templates matching Shopify's own figures including post-order adjustments.
  • Sync reliability — a paging fault meant a small number of orders could permanently miss their sales rows on very large stores. Fixed, with an automatic reconciler that now catches and repairs any that slip through.

  • API access now ends automatically when you disconnect a store, when a subscription lapses, or when a plan changes — keys are revoked for you, and a revoked key can never be reactivated. Your key and plan are checked on every single request, so there is no waiting period.
  • New acceptable use guide for the API — what you can do with the data you pull, how customer personal data must be handled, and the rules that come with a key
  • Store data is now fully removed from our search indexes when you uninstall, alongside the existing file and export cleanup
