Collections dashboard

The Collections dashboard brings every collection from all your connected Shopify stores into one list. Instead of opening each store to see which collections are manual, which are automated, and what rules drive them, you get a single view you can filter, sort, and export.

Opening the dashboard

In the left sidebar, go to Products → Collections, or visit /collections directly.

Each collection title links straight through to that collection in its own Shopify admin, so you can jump from the combined list to the source in one click.

What you'll see

Each row is one collection, with these columns:

Column	What it shows
Title	The collection title (with its image), linking to the collection in Shopify admin.
Store	Which connected store the collection belongs to (shown on multi-store accounts).
Product conditions	The match rules that drive an automated collection (empty for manual collections).
Last activity	When the collection was last updated.

Use the column picker to show, hide, and reorder columns, and set your default sort — the dashboard remembers your choice.

Filtering and searching

Narrow the list down and sort by any column. The filters make the common questions one click away:

• Stores and Store Urls — focus on one or more connected stores.
• Type — Automated (rule-based) or Manual (hand-picked) collections.

Type in the search box to filter collections by title.

Exporting

Open the Export Builder from the dashboard to download collections as CSV or Excel. You choose the scope:

• Current page — just what's on screen.
• Filtered — everything matching your current filters.
• Selected — only the rows you tick.
• All collections — the full list across your stores.

Pick the columns you want, and download. If you export the same shape regularly, save it as a template so it's one click next time.

Tutorial: list every automated collection across your stores

A quick walkthrough of a common job — seeing which collections build themselves from rules, across every store, and handing the list to your team as a file.

1. Open Products → Collections from the sidebar.
2. In the filter bar, set Type to Automated to show only rule-based collections.
3. Add a Store filter if you want to focus on one store, or leave it off to see all stores together.
4. Use the column picker to make sure Product conditions is visible so every row shows the rules that drive it.
5. Click a column header to sort — for example Last activity, newest first, to see what changed most recently.
6. Open the Export Builder, choose the Filtered scope, pick your columns, and download a CSV or Excel — a ready-to-share collections report.

Permissions

Account owners always have access. For team members, access is controlled by the View Collections permission — without it, opening the dashboard shows a "no access" message. Grant it from your team member's permissions.

FAQ

Does the Collections dashboard show collections from all my stores at once? Yes — every connected store's collections land in one list. Filter by Store when you want to focus on a single store.

What's the difference between Automated and Manual collections? Automated (smart) collections add products automatically from match rules, shown in the Product conditions column. Manual collections are hand-picked, so they have no rules.

Can I export only the collections I've filtered to? Yes. Open the Export Builder and choose the Filtered scope to export exactly what matches your current filters — or Selected for just the rows you tick.

Can I edit a collection from here? The dashboard is a combined, read-only view. Click a collection title to open it in its own Shopify admin, where you can make changes.

Can team members see this dashboard? Only if they have the View Collections permission. Account owners always have access.
