Blogs dashboard
The Blogs dashboard brings every blog from all your connected Shopify stores into one list. Instead of opening each store to check which blogs exist, how their comments are moderated, or roughly how many articles each holds, you get a single view you can filter, sort, and export.
Opening the dashboard
In the left sidebar, go to Content → Blogs, or visit /content/blogs
directly.
If a connected store is missing the access scope EcomSolo needs to read blogs, a small badge appears next to the menu item — open the dashboard and you'll see which stores need re-authorizing.
What you'll see
Each row is one blog, with these columns:

| Handle | The blog's URL handle. |
| Articles | The approximate number of articles in the blog. |
| Comment Policy | How comments are moderated for the blog. |
| Template Suffix | The theme template the blog uses, when a custom one is set. |
| Tags | The blog's tags. |
| Store | Which connected store the blog belongs to (shown when you have more than one store). |
| Created At | When the blog was created. |
| Updated At | When it was last updated. |
Use the column picker to show, hide, and reorder columns, and set your default sort — the dashboard remembers your choice. From the dashboard you can also jump to Blog posts to see the articles across your stores.
Filtering and searching
Narrow the list down and sort by any column, so the common questions are one click away:
- Stores — focus on one store, or leave it off to see them all together.
- Title and Handle — find a specific blog.
- Comment Policy — group blogs by how comments are moderated.
- Template Suffix — find blogs built on a particular theme template.
- Tags — filter by blog tag.
- Created At, Updated At — narrow to a date range.
The search box matches blog titles that contain your text.
Exporting
Open the Export Builder from the dashboard to download blogs as CSV or Excel. You choose the scope:
- Current page — just what's on screen.
- Filtered — everything matching your current filters.
- Selected — only the rows you tick.
- All blogs — the full list across your stores.
Pick the columns you want, and download. If you export the same shape regularly, save it as a template so it's one click next time.
Tutorial: inventory every blog across your stores
A quick walkthrough of a common job — building one list of all your blogs, with how their comments are moderated and roughly how many articles each holds, as a file you can share.
- Open Content → Blogs from the sidebar.
- Leave the Stores filter off so every store's blogs appear together.
- Click the Articles column header to sort — for example largest first, so your most active blogs rise to the top.
- Use the column picker to make sure Title, Comment Policy, and Articles are all showing.
- Open the Export Builder and choose the All blogs scope.
- Pick your columns and download a CSV or Excel — a complete blog inventory across your stores.
Permissions
Account owners always have access. For team members, access is controlled by the View Blogs permission — without it, opening the dashboard shows a "no access" message. Grant it from your team member's permissions.
FAQ
Does the Blogs dashboard show blogs from all my stores at once? Yes — every connected store's blogs land in one list. Filter by Stores when you want to focus on a single store.
Is the Articles count exact? It's an approximate count of the articles in each blog, meant for a quick sense of scale rather than an exact tally. Open the Blog posts dashboard to work with individual articles.
Where do I manage the individual posts? Use the Blog posts action from the dashboard, or open Content → Blog posts, to see every article across your stores.
Can I export only the blogs I've filtered to? Yes. Open the Export Builder and choose the Filtered scope to export exactly what matches your current filters — or Selected for just the rows you tick.
A store shows a warning badge next to Blogs — what does it mean? That store is missing the Shopify access scope EcomSolo needs to read blogs. Re-authorize the store and the badge clears.
Can team members see this dashboard? Only if they have the View Blogs permission. Account owners always have access.
