Welcome to the EcomSolo docs — practical guides for managing data across all your connected Shopify stores from one dashboard.

Importing

Bring data into your stores from spreadsheets, JSON, Google Sheets, or straight from another connected store.

  • Importing into EcomSolo — the import wizard end to end: sources, column mapping, dry runs, schedules, and reports.
  • Import a whole store from one workbook — one Excel file, one sheet per entity (Matrixify-style names work), imported in a single run in dependency order.
  • Importing Blog Posts — blog articles (title, author, body, tags, hero image, publish state), matched by blog + post handle.
  • Importing Blogs — blog containers (title, comment policy, template), matched by handle.
  • Importing Collections — custom collections (manual product list) and smart collections (rules), matched by handle.
  • Importing Companies — B2B companies, their main contact, and one or more locations (shipping + billing), one row per location, matched by External ID. Requires B2B (Shopify Plus).
  • Importing Customers — profiles, multiple addresses, tags, and marketing consent, matched by email.
  • Importing Discounts — code & automatic discounts (amount off, free shipping, Buy X Get Y), matched by code (or title).
  • Importing Files — media-library assets from public URLs (alt text, filename), matched by filename.
  • Importing Gift Cards — issue new gift cards (value, customer/recipient by email, expiry, note). Create-only.
  • Importing Inventory — stock-take lists or per-location columns, setting or adjusting available and on-hand quantities.
  • Importing Locations — physical/virtual locations (name, address, fulfillment), matched by name, with an explicit activate/deactivate flag.
  • Importing Menus — navigation menus as a nested tree of links, one row per item with a level, matched by handle.
  • Importing Metafield Definitions — the custom-data schema (owner type, namespace, key, type, validations, pinned), matched by owner + namespace + key; supports delete and pin/unpin.
  • Importing Metafields — a dedicated metafields sheet (one per row) targeting any owner, matched by owner + namespace + key; a blank value deletes.
  • Importing Metaobjects — custom structured-data entries, one row per field grouped by type + handle, upserted by (type, handle). Definitions must already exist.
  • Importing Orders — migrate historical orders, one row per line item grouped by Name, matched by Name. Never notifies customers, captures payment, or moves inventory.
  • Importing Pages — Online Store pages (title, HTML body, publish state, template), matched by handle.
  • Importing Products — every supported column, multi-variant products, images, inventory columns (create AND stock a product in one run), and troubleshooting.
  • Importing Shop metafields — update your store's shop-level metafields (namespace, key, type, value). Update-only; blank deletes. No Shop ID needed.
  • Importing URL Redirects — bulk redirect lists (path → target), matched by path.
