Data Deletion Instructions

You are in control of the data Ecomsolo stores about you and your connected stores and accounts. This page explains how to have your data deleted.

Deleting your Ecomsolo account

To delete your Ecomsolo account and all data associated with it, email us at support@ecomsolo.com from the email address registered to your account, requesting account deletion. We will delete your account and all associated data — including your profile information, connected store data, reports, exports, and any data retrieved from connected third-party platforms — within 30 days of your request, and we will confirm the deletion by email.

Disconnecting a third-party platform

If you want to remove the data of a single connected platform (for example Shopify, Google, or Facebook/Meta) without deleting your whole account:

– Disconnect the platform from your Ecomsolo settings, or revoke Ecomsolo's access from that platform's own security settings (for Google: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions; for Facebook/Meta: Settings → Apps and Websites).

– Upon disconnection, the authorization tokens are revoked and deleted, and all data retrieved from that platform for your account is deleted within 30 days.

Facebook/Meta data deletion requests

If you used a Facebook/Meta login or connected a Meta account to Ecomsolo and want the data Ecomsolo received from Meta deleted, you can either follow the disconnection steps above or email support@ecomsolo.com with the subject "Meta Data Deletion Request". We will delete all data received from Meta for your account within 30 days and confirm by email.

API keys and programmatic access

If your account uses the Ecomsolo API, deletion covers it too. API keys stop working when you disconnect a store, when your subscription lapses or is cancelled, or when you delete your account — they are revoked automatically, and a revoked key cannot be reactivated. You can also revoke any key yourself at any time from Ecomsolo's settings, which takes effect immediately.

Data you retrieved through the API before that point lives in your own systems and is outside our reach, so deleting those copies is your responsibility. See When access ends for the detail.

What is retained

After deletion, we retain only what we are legally required to keep (for example invoicing records required by tax law), and nothing else. Backup copies are purged on their normal expiry cycle.
